Development Labs

We offer online and in-person research, story, script, and film development labs for emerging and established writers and filmmakers.

We work with scientists and journalists who would like to adapt their work for the screen; film and TV writers who want to ideate, develop, write, and revise their scripts; and filmmakers who would like to strengthen their film (scripted and unscripted).  We work with short and long-form projects.

​Labs meet once a week for six weeks to four months, depending on the lab, for 3-hour sessions.

​All labs are taught by professional award-winning writers who understand the unique needs of writing climate-driven narratives.

​Enrollment is capped to ensure a personal hands-on experience.

​Labs are offered on a sliding scale fee, and scholarships are available.
